We are seeking Tool & Die Repair Tech with blueprint experience to fill a role with an exceptional company located in Canton. This direct hire position is a Monday - Thursday shift with great benefits. AND $500 bonus after 30 days, $500 after 60 days and $500 after 3 Months! This truly is an outstanding company to be a part of.salary: $53,393 - $53,393 per yearshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 1:30 AMeducation: High` SchoolResponsibilitiesRepair a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, templates, inspection fixtures and gauges, and similar devices; change over and setup blade, utility press, and other production dies.Work from MLS work orders and record labor and inventory transactions in MLS. Setup all blade dies and utility press dies.Change over dies in tool room; take dies apart and change out details to run a variety of different parts.Make decisions as to fits, finishes, machining and assembly sequences, maintaining close tolerances.Alter and repair a variety of tools, templates and dies including blanking, piercing, bending, forming, drawing and other stamping dies; welding, drilling and assembly templates, jigs and fixtures.Perform difficult bench work involving filing, grinding, lapping, fitting and polishing.Use calipers, micrometers, verniers, comparator, and other precision measuring instruments to maintain close tolerances.Report blueprint errors such as improper dimensions to supervision.The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
SkillsBlueprint Reading (3 years of experience is required)
Mechanical Maintenance (1 year of experience is required)
Caliper and Micrometer Skills (3 years of experience is required)
Tool and Die Repair (1 year of experience is required)
Die Change Overs (1 year of experience is required)
Product Inspection (1 year of experience is required)
Forklift (1 year of experience is required)
