Please review the job description below.Job Location: Atlanta, GA-30339 (hybrid)Job Type: Full timeSummary: The Data Literacy Specialist will provide critical support by creating, implementing, and utilizing content through effective data governance channels of communication, including data sites & portals, data literacy training, SOP documentation as well as other channels; across the organization that support Data Governance’s vision to empower decisions and inspire a culture.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop strategic messaging, content, and materials that are aligned with data governance mission, values, and principle.
- Create original, clear, compelling, and concise copy for data team communications including documenting policies & SOP’s, intranet website content, data portals, newsletters and training material that ensures compelling and effective communication
- Document data policies and develop templates for SOPs, data standards, data processes with consistent structure and messaging.
- Create and execute plans to increase data awareness, data relevance and data team reputation
- Enhance our governance strategies and develop ideas to improve communication between key business stakeholders’ and the data team
- Track the effectiveness of the communication channels, keeping track of key performance indicators like engagement and policy & standards adoption rates
- Manage the design, production, and distribution of data messages and collateral
- Create and maintain consistent data governance themes across content, stakeholder engagement
- Develop and monitor new ideas to enhance stakeholder engagement by telling relevant data stories
- Build and inspire a data culture through energic and exciting communication campaigns
- Tell complex data stories in simplistic and relatable forms that create engagement, add value, and creates a call to action
- Edit and proofread content produced by other employees before posting
