Job Title: Tool/Mold TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Mold/Tooling Technician, you will be responsible for process changes and high level mold maintenance for processing/production. Preventative and reactive maintenance for molds and tools for injection molding machines. Mold maintenance ranging from disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly to metal fabrication and welding for repairs and quality assurance to replacing components of molds like ejector pins, sprues, cavities, cores, plates, heating elements, etc.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Dalton, GA.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is clean and partially climate-controlled, but can get hot during the summer, often being about 10 degrees hotter than the outside temperature. Nice facility and equipment. Busy, hectic work environment for the first couple months as they do a production ramp-up for a new contract they got. But should be much less chaotic after they get fully staffed and get production up to speed.Pay: $28-$38/hr, depending on experienceShifts: 2nd & 3rdSchedule: Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday with OT on most Saturdays and on Sundays as needed. Working a lot of OT for the first couple months as they do a production ramp-up for a new contract they got, so they'll be working Saturdays for those first couple months.Weekly hours: Probably about 65-70 for the first few months, then it'll go back down to more like 55 hours a week once they get production levels to where they need for the new contract they got.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
