- Looking for a 6+ years of experienced TPF developer (TPF, TPF-DF, TPF C and any TPF API) responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications in the TPF environment.
- Understand business requirements in order to provide the technical design of computer software.
- Possess programming expertise in one of our standard programming languages in order to develop and maintain computer software.
- Develop appropriate software and documentation according to our standards.
- Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all problems.
- Follow our standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software. May perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Experience building computer software within the Airline business a plus.
- Experience in developing and maintaining software for a z/TPF operating system.
- Must have 6 years of TPF application experience
- Must have a good working knowledge of the structure of a PNR
- Must understand and have experience with the Schedule Change process and its impact on PNRs
- Must be familiar with the concept of a PNR and its use
- Must be able to code proficiently in TPF, TPF-DF, TPF C and any TPF API
- Must have a good understanding of teletype processing.
- Must be able to understand and code using TPFDF database structures
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems development field. Previous airline experience ideal.
