Location: 227 Sandy Springs Place, Suite 210, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328VCA North Atlanta Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!About UsOur AAHA-accredited primary care practice is located in City Walk, in the heart of Sandy Springs just north of Atlanta. We provide Primary Care, Dentistry and Surgery for canine and feline patients, open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:30am, Saturday 8am - 3pm, closed Sundays.VCA North Atlanta is part of VCA's IdeaPark , a group of hospitals committed to innovation and rethinking how we provide veterinary care. Duties will include:

Compassionate patient care

Client education and care

Venipuncture and catheter placement

Radiology and diagnostics

Lab sample collection and processing

Surgical preparation and assisting

Anesthesia monitoring

Dentistry

Medication preparation and administration

Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

Medical recordkeeping

Basic Qualifications

One or more years of Veterinary Assistant experience

Able to proficiently perform veterinary assisting duties including those listed above
