Warehouse Associate/ PT / M-F Dock Worker

Courier Express is looking for a Warehouse Associate/Dock Worker. The primary position we are looking to cover will be from 4:30AM to 9:30AM Monday through Friday.

The purpose of the position is to participate in the sorting and loading of incoming product out to drivers. The right individual would be a self starter and work well with limited supervision and always incorporate a sense of urgency and great attention to detail in daily operations.

Primary job duties will be to serve as a point of contact in the warehouse in the event of any questions or issues. Be responsible for the coordinating and sorting of product received from the line haul each day. Prepare scanners for receiving of product and handle troubleshooting issues. Document returns, miss sorts, and unreceived product. Utilize various machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to organize product in the warehouse. Manually move, prep, and sort product, occasionally loading it onto freight trailers. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.

Personal skills required may include having the ability to plan and carry out daily operations plan with limited supervision, proven ability to multitask, highly developed organizational skills, ability to interact with other employees at a variety of levels, ability to lift and carry at least 70 lbs, ability to stand, twist, squat, and bend for long periods of time, consistently punctual, excellent communication skills, rapid response to issues, attention to detail, ability to communicate needs or issues.
