Description We are in search of an Accountant to join our team, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. As an Accountant, you will be instrumental in ensuring financial compliance, reviewing data, and completing complex financial procedures. If you are interested in this role, please contact Melissa Tree at 808.452.0254 Responsibilities: Execute various financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Complete accounts payable invoice entries and accounts receivable billings. Compile and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform accrual entries as required. Assist in tracking fixed assets and executing payroll journal entries. Prepare GET returns and ensure knowledge of debits, credits, and GAAP is applied. Reconcile credit card statements and maintain accurate customer credit records. Assist in interdepartmental goal accomplishment by collaborating with the team. Provide support to the Accounting Manager and Executives with various tasks as needed. Utilize advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SAGE100, ADP, and MS Office in daily tasks.Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's or Honours Degree in Accounting Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role Proficiency in GAAP Accounting and US GAAP Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries Knowledge of Sage 100 software Proficiency in Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel, and MS Excel Experience with Excise Tax and Financial Statement Preparation Ability to prepare Financial Statements and perform their Consolidation Experience with ADP Online and Microsoft Outlook Familiarity with the management of Fixed Assets Experience in Payroll and Payroll Transaction Ability to manage Balance Sheets, perform Balance Sheet Reviews, and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Experience with Month End Close, Bank Reconciliations, and Accrual Entries Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
