Description We are inviting applications for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role based in Kapolei for a growing company. You will play a crucial role in leading the accounting department, ensuring precise financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: Develop strategic plans for the organization's financial operations, which includes budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Analyze accounting data to discern trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management. Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting rules, laws, and regulations, including General Equivalent (GE) tax regulations. Maintain a robust system of internal controls to protect the organization's assets and financial data. Oversee the prompt and accurate reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Manage fixed asset activity, which includes tracking depreciation and ensuring proper capitalization. Develop and manage debt schedules, including loan payments and interest accruals. Negotiate favorable terms with lenders and ensure prompt debt repayments. Analyze accounting data to generate detailed financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Communicate financial results and insights to senior management and stakeholders.Requirements A minimum of five years' experience in a similar accounting management role, preferably within the Rental/Leasing Services industry. Proven expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A). Demonstrable skills in Account Reconciliation and handling Fixed Assets. Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is a must. Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting. Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be an advantage. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
