Top Skills:

Very comfortable in filling I9's, verifying EE01's, and researching client disputes

Minimum of 5 years of experience within accounts receivable/accounting

Preferred bachelors degree (in related field) but will need an associates at the least

Comfortable navigating excel at a intermediate level (understand basic functions)

Nice to haves:

Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as Deltek or similar accounting software systems.

In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable principles, accounting standards and industry regulations.

Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures.

Description:

Gather and verify billing data from all the departments.

Prepare invoices and submit them to the clients in a timely manner.

Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Enter approved billing adjustments to customer accounts, including credit memos, discounts, and approved credits.

Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.

Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.

Prepare bank deposits and deposit payment to a bank.

Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.

Research payment inquiries from customers and assist with payment reconciliations.
