Small Jewelry company looking for a Bench Jewelry Technician and Jewelry Production Assistant. Great opportunity for someone to learn how a small business operates. Must have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently. Must be detail-oriented and organized. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have experience with Jewelry, Metals, and Findings. Knowledge of Pearls a plus.

This position is for Part time. Must be available 19 hours per week (2-3 days monday-friday). Hourly rate depending on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Solder jewelry to make bangles, rings, and earring components.

2. Hammer and polish jewelry checking quality control along the way.

3. Manage inventory of bench supplies such as wire, solder, flux and propane.

4. Cut and measure wire using the style specs book for design specs.

5. Check Quality after finishing each piece.

6. Drill and clean pearls with the pearl machine.

7. Setting stones and bezeling if necessary.

8. Create jewelry for production.

9. Organize wire wrapping supplies and tables.

10. Record what supplies are running low and need to be reordered daily.

11. Put away and organize new supplies daily.

12. Work with hands and sit for long periods of time.

13. Attention to detail, organized, ability to multitask, and keep areas clean.
