About You:

You’ve lived on Maui for at least a year.

You're a confident swimmer—lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid training are a big plus (but if you don’t have them yet, we’ll help you get certified).

You love snorkeling, especially at Molokini, and you enjoy sharing the beauty and spirit of Maui with others.

You know the island behind Molokini and are familiar with the local marine life—or you’re excited to learn.

You’re proactive, calm under pressure, and good at spotting and preventing potential issues.

Experience on boats is preferred but not required.

Requirements:

Consistently reliable and punctual—showing up on time is non-negotiable.

Able to free dive to a depth of 20 feet.

Physically fit and comfortable working in rough ocean conditions and on small vessels.

Available for at least a one-year commitment with Redline.

The Role:

You’ll work aboard our 20-passenger rafting vessels, helping lead daily snorkeling tours to Molokini and seasonal whale-watching trips (December through March), departing from Kihei Boat Ramp. Shifts run from approximately 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional longer days for maintenance. You’ll assist guests both on the boat and in the water—expect to snorkel for over an hour on most trips.

Compensation:

Pay is $18-$20/hour plus tips (split with the captain).
