The base salary range for this position is $80k - $90k.This is a Sales Manager - Group Business Development position, responsible for identifying and sourcing group business in accordance with Mauna Lani’s strategic plan to maximize room revenue during peak and non-peak periods. This sales manager will report to the Director of Sales. Support Mauna Lani’s revenue goals by generating leads from new Accounts and Contacts.  Organize and schedule direct sales efforts via phone, email, and in person. An average of 4 prospecting/business development efforts per day are expected (20 per week).  Evaluate and initiate opportunities for developing new sources of business.Build effective relationships with new group accounts and contacts that support the hotel’s strategy.Support and participate in daily calls with Director of Sales as needed.Accurately maintain and build Delphi / Salesforce database of clients.  Abide by the policies and procedures of Mauna Lani and Auberge Resorts.Maintain ethical and professional standards of sales service.Maintain professional appearance and demeanor and to conduct personal behavior in a mature and professional business manner while representing the company.Travel and work flexible days and hours.Phone calls, emails and requests are to be returned the same day and RFP’s have a 24 hour response time.Maintain customer, trade, industry and employee relations.Work with tourism organization to maximize opportunities for Mauna Lani.Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.
