Duties
Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance their shopping experience
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy
Conduct engaging product demos to educate customers about our chocolates and encourage upselling opportunities
Maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight new products and seasonal offerings
Restock shelves and organize stock to ensure the store remains inviting and well-stocked at all times
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with integrity and precision
Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing back-of-house storage
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely
Support team members in supervising store operations when needed, ensuring smooth daily functions
Qualifications
Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or specialty food environment
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
Experience in supervising or leading small teams is desirable but not required
Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting boxes, and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of customer service best practices to create positive interactions at every touchpoint
Enthusiasm for chocolates or gourmet foods is preferred to authentically share product knowledge with customers
