Job Title: Marine ElectricianJob DescriptionAs a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and repair of marine cables and equipment. This includes connecting lighting and electrical power, as well as troubleshooting and repairing shipboard and facilities electrical systems. You will work with hand and power tools, various test equipment, and must be proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Your role is crucial in maintaining safety and security standards, meeting productivity goals and quality standards as set by management. Regular communication with officers, managers, and supervisors about departmental issues is expected. You will also guide and train other workers in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixture installation, maintenance, or repair.Hard Skills
