With employee health and safety as our top priority, and as a federal contractor, Lockheed Martin is taking action to address the increased risk and uncertainty COVID variants pose in the workplace and ensuring we meet our commitments to national security.As directed by Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, all current and newly hired employees, in the United States, are required to be fully vaccinated by January 18, 2022.Description: This position is located in Hickam HIMust be competent in and able to lead others through performing the duties listed below.Perform LO restoration, Panel removal and installation, ground handling of aircraft, and other duties as assigned.Read and interpret F-22 engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes - Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders. Work with precision measuring instruments, micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and standard scales. Utilizes tools to include but not limited to drills, angle motors, shears, drill press, and pneumatic riveter.Fabricate detail parts such as shims, splices, gussets, angles, brackets, doublers, stiffeners, and patches - Use shop aids to facilitate assembly and installation as required.Bonding of aircraft parts, assemblies and materials on complete and incomplete aircraft where methods and operational sequences are not established, complete information is not readily available, and tooling is not provided or is inadequate, exercising a complete knowledge of bonding practices, procedures, makes layouts and locates parts and material for exacting fit where critical surface contours, edge distances or coordinated dimensions must be established and maintained; completes all bonding operations exercising ingenuity in determining the most efficient fabrication and assembly methods; verifies application/condition of installed materials for conformity to specifications and determines material and time required to perform repairs; removes, takes corrective action and makes reinstallations where design and modification changes. Sets up and operates various types of material testers and mixers.Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.Physical Demands:Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms.The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Must acquire an Interim Secret clearance prior to startBasic Qualifications:Fighter Aircraft ExperienceMust be willing and able to both take direction from production and make effective decision in the execution of the daily assignments.Candidate must have at least 5 years o 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft (F-22 and F-35)Candidate must have held a 5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline rating or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant, FAA certificateDesired Skills:Previous roles of leadershipF-22 experienceLow Observable Coatings application experience and trainingKnowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
