Maintains the cleanliness in assigned work areas. Follows established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs housekeeping duties that include:

◊ Assisting funeral director prior, during, and after funeral services

◊ Maintaining tables and chairs in funeral chapel and lanais

◊ General cleaning: vacuuming, sweeping and mopping

◊ Cleaning restrooms and disposing trash

◊ Replenishing supplies

◊ Assisting in the kitchen during funeral services

Demonstrates a commitment to service excellence, trustworthiness, and integrity

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

No previous experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Physically agile and dexterous

Proficient knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents

Ability to follow safety guidelines and take appropriate cautions

Basic computer skills preferred
