Jeep Detailer / Vehicle Washer

Big Island Jeep Rental is looking for a reliable, hard-working person to help wash and detail our fleet of Jeeps.

This is a part-time, flexible role for someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles clean, safe, and ready for adventure.

This job is physical, outdoors, and detail-focused — perfect for someone who likes working with their hands and staying active.

Responsibilities:

Wash, vacuum, and wipe down Jeeps inside and out

Clean soft tops, tires, and undercarriages as needed

Inspect vehicles for damage or cleanliness issues

Restock supplies (towels, cleaners, etc.)

Maintain a clean and organized wash area

Assist with occasional pickup/drop-off

Assist delivering vehicles for service, running errands, etc

Requirements:

Reliable, on time, and able to work independently

Attention to detail (we want our Jeeps looking top-notch!)

Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in sun or rain

Comfortable moving vehicles (must have valid driver’s license with good record)

Pass drug screening + background check

Local to Kailua-Kona or nearby

Experience detailing or washing cars/trucks/boats

Familiarity with Jeeps or off-road vehicles

Flexible availability for weekends or quick turnarounds

Part-time, flexible hours (10–20 hrs/week)

Pay starts at $25 depending on experience
