The Marine Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting the surfaces of ships, boats, and other marine vessels. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of marine coatings, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust, and debris.

Apply primers, paints, and coatings to marine vessels using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired finish.

Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups.

Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a marine environment.

Knowledge of marine coatings and painting techniques.

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
