Position Title: Multimedia Coordinator
Job Type: Part-Time Employee
Salary: $1,200/month ($14,400/year)
Supervisor: Senior Pastor
Supervises: Multimedia Team
Corresponds: Worship Team
Church Size: 200 (average Sunday Worship attendance: 70)
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A. Responsible for the multimedia equipment, the coordination of the Multimedia Team, and the production of digital media for the Sunday Worship services, rehearsals and special events.
II. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A. Experience required working with editing. Some college or a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
B. Commitment to the Christian mission of the United Methodist Church.
C. Experience in professional audio and video production.
1. Including, not limited to, audio, lighting, staging, data, video, broadcast/livestreaming.

B. Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of different media (paper, televised/projected, images, websites).
2. Ability to lead multiple projects from concept to completion.
3. Ability to supervise and train volunteers and/or employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
IV. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Responsible for all aspects of technical production and equipment for services (media, lighting, etc.).
1. Maintain and account for all multimedia equipment, including regular updates on computer software and hardware.
2. Troubleshoot technology regarding tools for worship.
3. Implement strategic policies for inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
4. Train, schedule, and recruit volunteer teams.
5. Support special services and events when AV needs are requested.
6. Attend all regular rehearsals and worship services to set up, run, and return AV equipment.
7. Manage and assist in projects to update all multimedia equipment and soundbooth wiring and organization as time allows.
8. Design and produce graphics and media pertaining to worship services.
9. Coordinate and assist in creating media appropriate for worship.
10. Maintain open communication.
B. Weekly Coordinated Responsibilities
1. Correspond and coordinate with the Worship Team and Multimedia Team for tasks and responsibilities regarding Sunday Worship services.
2. Produce content for Sunday Worship services on campus from the hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Zoom is opened at 10:15 AM; worship service begins at 10:45 AM).
3. Record, edit, and post videos of worship services and events.
4. Keep open communication

C. Monthly Coordinated Responsibilities
1. Attend Worship Team meetings (currently scheduled on second Thursdays).
2. Maintain total hours of work with maintenance, education, and coordination with staff and volunteers (average expected work hours per week: 15 hours, no more than 19 hours per week).
D. On-Going or As-Needed Responsibilities
1. Communication
a) Staff Liaison (Staff-Parish Relations Committee, SPRC)

c) Facilities Secretary
d) Board of Trustees
e) Celebration of Life Coordinator
(1) Additional AV needs may arise with Celebration of Life services, weddings, or community gatherings. Multimedia Team will be asked to support these events and will receive additional compensation.
E. Other relevant duties to be assigned after consultation with the Supervisor.
V. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
A. Attend continuing education seminars to enhance skills for this job position.
B. Commit to learning new technical skills related to this job, including staying current with technologies related to worship and church environments.
