Part-Time Help Wanted – Organic Orchard

We’re looking for a reliable, outdoors-loving individual to join us part-time on our organic orchard in Kilauea. Our farm includes a variety of fruit trees. Work will be a mix of general orchard care, propagation, planting, and harvesting.

Responsibilities:

Pruning, trimming, and fertilizing fruit trees

Orchard cleanup (fallen fruit, fronds, coconuts)

Collecting and planting seedlings

Propagating and potting dwarf coconuts

Cutting and clearing palm fronds

Harvesting and light farm maintenance tasks

Schedule:

2 days per week (Preferably any combo of Tues-Thurs)

6–8 hours per day

Requirements:

Comfortable working outdoors (sun/heat)

Some tree/landscaping/farm experience preferred

Physically able to lift 40+ lbs and use tools safely

Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions

Compensation:

$25-30/hr depending on experience

Paid two-week trial period to start. If it’s a good fit for both we can set a regular steady schedule.

Possibility of more hours as nursery expands

Kilauea, Kauai (North Shore)
