Serve as IT Project Coordinator and Logistics Specialist Supporting the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), Information Technology Financial Management (ITFM) Division.

Manage logistics program and responsible for operational process improvement to increase efficiency in asset procurements, inventory, and data management.

Responsible for creating, maintaining, reviewing, and updating the DPAA’s Information Technology (IT) polices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) according to DoD rules and regulations from both internal and external guidance.

Serve as an Information Technology (IT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides customer support by providing timely technical assistance and problem resolution.

Align schedule with the ITFM Division Chief to ensure peak organizational performance and increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. Assist DPAA ITFM Office by providing project management and coordination of end-user equipment lifecycle refresh and other associated IT projects.

Draft all project management documentation i.e. charters, stakeholder registers, risk management registers and plans, work breakdown structures/packages, checklists, acquisition documentation, and project closeout documentation for ITFM Office.

Responsible for acquiring, compiling, and manipulating equipment lifecycle and cost data for DPAA end-user workstations, laptops, and tablets, and network infrastructure appliances in conjunction with DPAA ITFM Office and the assigned IT asset managers.

Assist DPAA ITFM Office Manager to identify best technical solutions for end-user needs IAW DISA prescribed catalog for end points.

Proactively uses Remedy and other IT ticket and inventory management systems to project future lifecycle refresh requirements and provides Rough Order of Magnitude on costs to ITFM. Assist DPAA Program Manager to track IT procurement packages submitted to US Army CECOM for Regional Support Center (RSC) approval, product renewal/lifecycle refresh, and receipt of same. Analyzes procurements and suggests best practice venues for completion i.e. NASA SEWP (via DITCO Scott), Government Purchase Card (GPC), CECOM, etc. Maintain open, transparent tracking of purchase transactions showing status of various purchases, invoices, and customer receipt verifications, and reconciles these against quarterly CECOM statements.

Assist DPAA ITFM to review invoices for materials and services procured through the CECOM prime vendor. Coordinate resolution to problems associated with individual hardware or software deliveries.

Assist DPAA IT Software Portfolio Manager to provide software licensing, control, and status services for accountability purposes. Assist DPAA ITFM Division Chief to plan, schedule, and execute lifecycle technical refresh projects. Provide ITFM Division Chief with data to assist in sustaining system warranties and maintenance.

This position is required to be physically present during the duty day to coordinate with the ITFM Division Chief and the Asset Management team.

Will also be responsible for other duties as assigned by ITFM Division Chief.

What you'll need to be successful:● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) Individual must be certified IAW DODI 8140 and 8570 for cybersecurity workforce for enterprise-wide baseline cybersecurity role.
