We have a full time and part time opening for a highly energetic, detail-oriented and passionate about fleet operations and full of Hoʻokipa personality to join our Ohana as a Senior Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities within the passenger group transportation market. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the travel, tourism, and corporate sectors.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with both existing and potential clients to drive repeat business. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction at every stage of the sales process.
Marketing Strategy: Design and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote services. This includes creating marketing materials, participating in trade shows, events, and other promotional activities to raise brand awareness.
Proposal Creation and Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts for group transportation services. Work with the operations team to customize solutions that meet the needs of clients, including pricing and logistical considerations.
Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions. Provide recommendations for adjustments to sales and marketing strategies based on market insights.
Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on sales metrics, client feedback, and campaign performance. Analyze data to measure success and adjust tactics accordingly to meet sales targets and goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of transportation services for group bookings. Provide them with client expectations, needs, and feedback to improve service delivery.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, specifically within the passenger group transportation or travel/tourism industry.
Strong knowledge of group transportation logistics, including charter buses, shuttle services, and group travel needs.
Proven track record of successfully driving sales, acquiring new clients, and expanding market share.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with marketing platforms and social media strategies.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A creative, solutions-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with large corporate clients, event planners, or tour operators.
Familiarity with local/regional passenger transportation networks and industry regulations.
