General SummaryThe Service Technician, I supports the Installation Support Services (ISS2) contract on Wake Island, located 2,200 miles west of Hawaii.Government sponsored aircraft furnished transportation from Honolulu, Hawaii,. The program provides meals and housing while working.This role is perfect for someone who can be away from home for long periods of time with occasional scheduled trips back to Honolulu.Essential Duties & Job Functions

Assist unloading trucks and stocking items in storerooms.

Perform visitor processing and reporting activities.

Respond to call-outs after normal working hours as needed.

Prepare transient and contractor quarters for occupancy.

Inventory and replenishes amenities.

Ensure cleanliness of restrooms.

Sweep, mop, wax, and vacuum floors in hallways and common-use areas.

Dust furniture, wash windows, and empty trash containers in common-use areas.

Keep equipment, storage, and maintenance areas clean.

Keep areas adjacent to billets and public facilities free of trash and debris.

Order and maintain a 30-day stock of housekeeping and janitorial supplies.

Knowledge of military rank structure and protocol.

Follow established safety procedures and utilize safety protective equipment and clothing.

Perform related work as needed and assigned.

Requirements :Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Must have a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Ability to speak, write and read English.

Ability to pass National Agency Check with Inquiries background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Hospitality management experience.

Three (3) years of billeting or hotel/motel experience.

One (1) year experience in cargo processing, manifesting, and pallet buildup.

One (1) year of janitorial experience.
