Small Private Tour Company Looking For Driver

Ohana Private Car is a small Kona based private tour and transportation company. I started this company about 3 years ago and am looking for the right driver to join the team. This is a part-time position and hours will vary depending on our bookings and your availability. We're not just looking for someone that can drive, we're looking for the total package. Our company focuses on Private small group tours that are always fully customizable, we build each itinerary around what the clients want. So, no two tours are the same. Tours lengths vary between 3 hours and 14 hours, just depends on what the clients schedule. But it's Hawaii, so every tour given will bring you to one beautiful location or another. I usually feel like I'm just hanging out with new friends as I show vacationers around paradise!

Must Have:

-Valid DL with clean driving record (we'll check).

-Pleasant personality with great communication skills and clean personal appearance.

- The ability to multitasking and adapt to change, on the fly.

-Knowledge of history and geology of the Big Island and all of Hawaii.

Desired:

-Previous tour guide or hospitality experience.

-Multi lingual.

-Non-Smoking.

-TWIC for the Port of Hilo pickups.

This position is to become one of a few drivers that will be taking the majority of all of our bookings. The right candidate could potentially move to the front of the line for more tours, more hours and more responsibilities.

There is also potential for buy-in for partial ownership (profit sharing) of our small but growing company. Partial ownership buy-in will ensure you'd always be first option driver, plus profit share.
