NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYThe Senior Software Engineer will function as the technical expert for the development of an exciting new application for property associates leveraging a wide variety of technologies. The Single Pane of Glass will deliver a modern, intuitive interface presenting aggregated data from across multiple enterprise systems to support the most frequently executed tasks by front desk associates. As a key member of the product team, the SSE will create solutions that serve our business leveraging current and leading-edge technologies in an innovative and impactful manner.The exceptional candidate will have experience with complex desktop and mobile application development in a fast-paced environment and will have experience with ReactJS/NextJS, GraphQL, ResAPI, Document DB, and integrating with Salesforce Service CloudCANDIDATE PROFILERequired:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related OR equivalent years of experience and/or certification
Demonstrated experience in SAFe Agile development methodologies, specifically with large-scale initiatives and geographically distributed teams
At least 6 years of experience in Web Technologies like HTML5/CSS, ReactJS/NextJS, GraphQL, ResAPI, Document DB or comparable technologies to support delivery of complex desktop and web applications
Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins and Dynatrace
In-depth knowledge of application development standards including performance, security, and privacy protocols
DESIRED SKILLS
Minimum JavaScript Experience: 8+ Years
Minimum React Experience: 5+ Years.
Experience working with AWS tools and environments.
Experience developing in a microservices architecture.
Knowledge of GraphQL API concepts and implementation patterns
in-depth knowledge of JavaScript , CSS, HTML, and front-end languages .
Knowledge of REACT tools including ReactJS, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Server-Side Generation) preferably using Next.js
API design/implementation using REST or GraphQL
Experience with user interface design.
Experience working with databases (relational, documentDB, etc.) and writing SQL.
Experience writing automated tests (e.g. Mocha , Jest , Enzyme , etc.)
Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
Experience with StoryBook
Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub actions, code deployment procedures , and practices in various environments
Preferred:
Master’s degree in computer science or related field
Experience in development of hotel property applications

Provides consultation for routine and complex systems development
Coordinates with Operations and Infrastructure Delivery teams for deployment and production support activities
IT Governance
Follows all defined technology standards and processes (IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc)
Provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed
Maintains a proper balance between business and operational risk
Follows the defined project management standards and processes
Service Provider Management
Validates that Service Providers develop and manages respective aspects of a project plan (e.g. schedules, deliverables, metrics)
Makes short term plans for the team to effectively utilize resources
Monitors Service Provider outcomes
Reviews estimates of work effort for client project provided by Service Providers for accuracy
Facilitates timely resolution of service delivery problems and minimizes the impact to clients
