As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant opportunity is located in the Honolulu, Hawaii area and will offer a great you a great professional experience along with attractive compensation. Other projects as required

Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners

Be a part of various department-wide initiatives

Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts

Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)

Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Requirements - Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

Vow to meet business deadlines

Knowledgeable of ERP systems

Abila MIP experience desired

Foundational knowledge in non-profit fund accounting

Expertise in budgeting

Strong familiarity with Indirect Spend

Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance

Skilled in financial reporting

Ability to work well with functional department managers

Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports

The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
