Veterinary Assistant and Kennel Attendant

The Maui Veterinary Clinic is seeking a personable, energetic individual with strong animal husbandry and leadership skills to join our ohana as a full time Veterinary Assistant and Kennel Attendant. The Attendant will be responsible for ensuring a positive and rewarding boarding experience for our clients and their pets while they are our guests at our premium facility. We are looking for a reliable and dependable individual who will demonstrate professionalism and compassion when handling our guests and addressing our client's concerns.

The successful candidate must possess a love of animals and work well as a team member. They will embody a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. Flexible availability and the ability to work weekends and holidays is a must. This is an Entry Level position whose responsibilities include basic animal husbandry of our boarding guests, including exercising, feeding and maintaining an impeccably clean and healthy environment as well as general housekeeping and contributing to the overall cleanliness of the hospital. The duties will also include assisting the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in performing physical exams, handling and administration of medications.
