Veterinary Surgery Assistant – Thursdays & Fridays

No experience needed – we’ll train the right person! Our small animal clinic is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Surgery Assistant to join us on Thursdays and Fridays. This is a great fit for someone who’s focused, organized, and eager to help pets—possibly even a parent looking for part-time work while the kids are in school.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assist with prepping patients for surgery and monitoring recovery

Clean and maintain surgical areas

Support the veterinary team in a fast-paced environment

Must Be:

Comfortable around surgical procedures (not squeamish)

Focused, clean, and able to take direction well

Able to lift 50 lbs and remain on your feet the entire shift

Quick to shift gears as priorities change

Reliable and kind, with a love for animals

Schedule & Pay:

$17/hour to start

Required hours: 7:50 AM – 1:00 PM

Option for full day (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) if desired
