Role: Business Process Analyst Location: Boise, ID Duration: 7 Months Responsibilities:
- Document and track DevOps and Operational Initiative tasks.
- Coordinate functional and system testing.
- Manage the impediment, issues, risks, and decisions logs.
- Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for the functional testing team.
- Facilitate planning, backlog review, and retrospective sessions.
- Engage with agency managers to establish initiative priorities.
- Work with the DevOps teams to ensure they understand the requirements and functional specifications.
- Create and manage tasks in Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps.
- Coordinate the work of tasks needed to complete initiatives.
- Obtain status of work in progress.
- Create burndown and other reports to communicate initiative status.
- Assess change proposals for schedule impact, costs, and resource requirements.
- Prepare implementation plans.
- Business Process diagrams
- Detailed list of user stories and reports in TFS/Azure DevOps
- Requirements documentation
- Training and procedure documentation
- Implementation plans
- Requests for change
- Test cases/acceptance criteria for system changes
- Experience with negotiation, facilitation and presentation skills
- Experience leading and facilitating group and individual discussions to meet specific outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with proven success communicating with all levels of staff
- Ability to communicate with both business and IT experts
- Experience documenting both functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience documenting business processes and user stories
- Experience analyzing business processes and extracting requirements from them
- Experience defining business logic for system development
- Experience using and extracting data from Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio
- Ability to function independently with minimal direction or guidance
- Proven integrity, ethics and reliability
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to produce required deliverables
- Experience working as an Agile Practitioner, SCRUM Master, and or Product Owner.
