Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20 per hour + commission bonus
Responsibilities:
-Plan weekly sales calls.
-Create a target sales list and build a pipeline.
-Solicit new business opportunities.
-Maintain current business relationships.
-Improve profitability.
-Assist with Requests for Proposal (RFP's).
-Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for customer instructions.
-Identify new business opportunities within a specified territory by cold calling.
-Follow up on all sales leads.
-Participate with pricing analysis.
-Prepare and execute sales presentations.
-Participate in sales meetings.
-Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
-Excellent problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Outstanding people skills.
-Proficient negotiating skills.
-Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
-Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.
