This position requires previous experience working with, configuring, and supporting enterprise class packaged software applications. What will I do as an IT Application Administrator? Here are just some of the things you will do in this role

Act as a key member of the Enterprise Applications team collaborating with other team members daily.

Configure and execute business application testing and install rollouts and upgrades.

Understand the business applications considered core organization-wide applications.

Analyze business systems to identify inefficiencies and problems and recommend solutions.

Collaborate with business users and software vendors to troubleshoot configuration, installation, and implementation issues.

Demonstrate software and discuss options with business users within the organization.

Develop application specific disaster recovery plans.

Communicate problems and resolutions to systems support personnel to improve ongoing service delivery and support.

Act as subject matter expert in EDI and ERP technology.

Work with IT staff on configurations, system level problem resolution, and monitoring of applications.

Train staff and clients on the use of new business systems or changes to operational level processes and procedures.

Understand the business and articulate their needs into technical specifications and solutions.

Own your applications, projects and deliverables and drive them to a successful outcome.

Prepare and maintain documentation of application systems, configuration, and procedures.

Work with IT leadership on overall strategy for the application systems design, implementation & support.

Work with 3rd party vendors to report and manage issues, add to development roadmap, and upgrade to new technology solutions.

Respond to emergency situations as needed for the purpose of resolving immediate issues.

Stay current on trends in software, application management and PDI Systems.

Additional duties as assigned.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

A Bachelor's degree in MIS, business, or accounting.

3+ years’ experience working with enterprise software in the areas of major implementations, integration, and upgrades of software.

Experience with EDI and vendor integrations.

PDI technology experience is a plus.

2+ years of supervisor/leadership experience.

Acquired skills in using project management techniques and tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical, organizational ,and detail orientation skills.

The ability to multitask and prioritize in a challenging, fast-paced, dynamic environment.

A history of handling stress associated with the required immediate resolution of issues.

The ability to work at times outside business hours and on-call support for application upgrades, outages, and implementations.

Experience with Accounting systems a plus.

Physical Requirements:

This position is an office position and is primarily sedentary and may involve repetitive motions. The employee is regularly required to sit, type, use a mouse, phone, or similar office equipment. Occasionally required to lift objects of 20 lbs. or less.
