In addition, employees are also entitled to participate in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.  Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.  Primary Duties/responsibilities:Obtains and records accurate water usage and other data from customer meters using a variety of means including manual visual readings and electronic digital devices in accordance with established routing patterns and timelines.Inspects meter installations for tampering, insuring that lids are secure, meter registers are readable, and meter box is accessible.Inputs data for reports (i.e. hazard codes, damage reports, location and meter condition information, etc.).Trims around meter boxes.Gives proper leak notification to customers and/or company.Performs Customer Service Person (Field) and Utility Person functions as directed by management, and late-shift Customer Service Person (Field) duties on a rotating schedule.Uses digital tools, (computer, laptop, tablet, smart phone, etc.) devices and software to communicate, and perform and record work.Performs all job responsibilities and duties in compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and security laws, rules, policies, programs and training.
