Akkodis is seeking a

Network Switching/Router Engineer in Boise, ID. This person is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure of an organization. d other networking devices from vendors such as Aruba and Cisco to ensure efficient and reliable network connectivity. They work closely with other members of the IT team, including network architects, security engineers, and system administrators, to ensure that the network infrastructure meets the organization's needs.

Pay/Salary Range: $56-62/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret the application, feature, and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
  • Code, debug, test, document and communicate product, component, and feature development stages.
  • Validate results with user representatives, integrating and commissions the overall solution.
  • Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts
  • Optimizes efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Influence and improve customer satisfaction
  • Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams

    • Education/Experience
  • Expert in Apigee platform, Rest/SOA API design, Implementation experience in API security/access control
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 3+ years of experience in network switching and routing Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark and NetFlow
  • Preferred Qualifications: CCNA or CCNP certification
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment Experience with cloud networking, such as AWS or Azure
