Description Robert Half has a contract employment opportunity for a receptionist for a local law office in downtown Boise. This role is primarily focused on performing various administrative duties in a professional office environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the office on a daily basis. Responsibilities: Open the office each morning, organizing common areas, turning on lights, and preparing the coffee machine to create a welcoming environment Provide a warm reception for clients, offering them beverages and directing them to appropriate meeting areas Manage incoming calls, including directing calls to the appropriate personnel, taking detailed messages, and scheduling consultations Handle mail duties, such as retrieving mail from the post office, logging incoming mail, and distributing mail to the appropriate recipients Process payments and update records accurately and efficiently Maintain up-to-date records and coordination of ongoing client leads and inquiries Assist staff with editing and creating legal documents Prepare for client meetings and manage engagement letters, maintaining communication with attorneys and staff regarding client engagements and necessary follow-ups Keep the office tidy and organized throughout the day, managing inventory of supplies and snacks to ensure everything is well-stocked Secure the office at the close of the day, handling outgoing mail and bank deposits as needed Utilize various software tools such as Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.), MyCase, and Zoom for various tasksRequirements Proficiency in answering multi-line phone system Experience in providing customer service Skilled in data entry tasks Competent in managing email correspondence Strong interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Experience in organizing files and managing information Ability to schedule appointments efficiently Familiar with general receptionist duties Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Professional demeanor and strong ethical standards Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
