Speech Language Pathologist

JOB SUMMARYThe Speech Language Pathologist will partner with residents and other care providers to provide speech language pathology services with a goal to maximize their functional capacity and independence in their daily activities. Speech and Language Pathology Services are provided in outpatient and acute care settings. They will perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the order of a physician or other accepted healthcare provider, while observing precautions, indications and contraindications. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide evaluation and treatment in the areas of communication disorders and dysphagia. They will monitor and evaluate the treatment effect and progresses the treatment plan as necessaryJOB REQUIREMENTSEducations:

Masters Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology required

Valid State of Maine license required

BLS certification required

Experience:

Completed fellowship required

Other Skills Required;

Must be able to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
