WF Development Specialist - $27.40 hr.Our client in Boise, Idaho is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. This is a hybrid position, part remote, part in office.DESCRIPTION:The Workforce Development (WD) Specialist maintains the training and documentation systems, standard operating procedures, and work instructions to support training compliance and workforce readiness. Additionally, the WD Specialist may assist with department orientations to prepare new team members for training with an assigned mentor and improve initial time to productivity.TRAINING:Create on-the-job training (OJT) programs, courses, and resources to support team member training of assigned work tasks Maintain OJT resources to ensure content is accurate and effective Communicate regularly with leaders from assigned areas to gather training needs and report on training initiatives Facilitate regular meetings with customer groups to review key priorities, training deployments, readiness, and compliance Follow up on training requests to defined service-level agreements, and escalate when unable to complete independently.DOCUMENTATION:Identify business needs and determine content requirements for target audience Use standard English grammar, mechanics, and composition. Adhere to appropriate documentation standards, styles, and templates Work with subject matter experts to develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions Create and modify graphics and images Edit and proo documentation for accuracy Establish and maintain approval routes and notifications Store documents in the appropriate repository, using the correct document securities and keywords Monitor and follow up on change requests Facilitate periodic document reviews for controlled documents.DATA ANALYSIS & REPORTING:Extract and categorize data for visualization Develop graphs and charts for metrics reporting Create, publish, and refresh reports on an agreed-upon cadence with stakeholders.PROJECT MANAGEMENT: CORE TEAM PARTICIPANT-Attend project meetings and complete assigned action items on time Participate in creating the project charter with problem statement, scope, objectives and success criteria Assist in developing the project plan to include milestones, deliverables, schedule, communication, and risk mitigation plans Support project execution to closure Help prepare closing report to stakeholders Facilitate transition to sustaining mode when applicable.SAFETY & QUALITY:Complete required safety training and conduct work in accordance with safety policies Identify and promptly report hazards Follow safety procedures and area work rules Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner.QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent writing and presentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications Effective meeting facilitation skills Experience working in a collaborative environment focused on team approaches to solving problems Effective workload management skills, with proven ability to balance multiple tasks to meet deadlines Solid critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical abilities Able to understand technical issues and work with team members at all levels of the organization Self-motivated and directed, with a high level of initiative Experience in technical writing and content reuse methodologies and systems is a plus Experience with FrameMaker, HTML, ServiceNow, and SharePoint is a plus.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.Shift USA|1 : Day - Mon to Fri - 8 HoursManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
