Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in OAK BROOK, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and processing employee expense reports, maintaining system processes, and providing assistance to employees within the Financial Services industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring their compliance with company policies and accuracy. Assist employees in expense report entry, answering questions, and providing guidance on expense processes. Handle technical issues related to the expense administration system, such as resetting user passwords and troubleshooting access issues. Reconcile monthly credit card statements, ensuring all transactions are correctly accounted for and supported by the appropriate documentation. Streamline and enhance efficiency by providing feedback on current processes and suggesting improvements. Manage customer credit applications, processing them accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel to perform job duties. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) Demonstrated experience in coding invoices Strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Experience in invoice processing, with an ability to handle high volumes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets Ability to understand and adhere to all financial standards and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
