TIAA has an opportunity for an Active Directory Engineer. This role will install the Active Directory program, configure domains within the tool, and manage the directory services across a variety of Windows servers. In addition, will resolve and appropriately complete assigned cases and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues.The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and experience with Active Directory, Federation, Windows Server, Windows security, AD Proxy, Lightweight Directory Services, and related technology within a medium-to-large enterprise. Experience working with a minimum of 500 servers and 12,000 users. Possess the ability to manage workloads in a demanding environment.We work in a Hybrid-Flex environment.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, serverresources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifyingcompletion of scheduled jobs.
Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardwaresystems within company operational guidelines.
Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation,configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Resolve Windows operating system related issues and provide technical advice.
Ensure updates are occurring on a routine basis.
Ensure the stability, availability, and reliability for servers to support a wide range ofapplications in a hybrid cloud environment.
Serves as the escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidanceand direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, orsystem problems.
Prevent service impacts in a multifaceted and constantly evolving ecosystem, assure rapidrecoverability from any impacts to businesses and services.
Collaborate with IT stakeholders to assure visible communication, risk reduction, andaccountability for the performance and stability of the AD platform.
Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identify Managementenvironment.
Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements toexisting solutions or documentation.
Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customerexpectations.

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, Group Policies, DFS-R.
At least three (3) years’ experience working with a minimum of 500 servers and 12,000 users in a mid-to-large enterprise; experience using AD tools.
At least two (2) years’ experience with DNS, DHCP in Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 landscape.
At least two (2) years’ experience with Quest Migration Manager, Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory
At least two (2) years’ experience with Azure Active Directory
At least two (2) years’ experience with PowerShell and Python Scripting
Preferred:
Possess a deep and thorough understanding and experience with monitoring best practices, preferably with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCCM)
Ability to work in a team environment.
Experience with AWS Active Directory
Possess Azure Administrator Associate and/or Microsoft Certified, Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
