MDMS is hiring for an Algo Developer for an investment bank in the Chicago area. You will be responsible for developing real-time, low-latency systems for the bank and deploying those applications in a Windows environment. You will also be responsible for analyzing the performance of end-to-end systems, working with traders and other tech team members to optimize trading systems, and updating/adapting existing systems as needed.Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience developer for front-office, middle-office, back-end office applications.
- Strong knowledge of real-time trading applications and equities trading is a huge plus.
- Expertise in C# development (including multithreading and high-availability app development).
- Knowledge of Git and Unit testing tools.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills, experience with performance testing, and experience using Agile methodologies.
- BA or BS in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a similar field.
