Join us.Job Summary:Leads and coordinates activities for a team developing digital products and systems.What You Will Do: Provides technical support, and direction to team members to complete work on time and in high quality. Oversees performance of individual team members and team as a whole. Identifies and addresses staff training and development needs. Coordinates walkthroughs and reviews; ensures conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Monitors and troubleshoots performance and schedule issues.Education Requirement:Bachelor’s in Engineering or Information TechnologyWhat Skills You Will Have:Products and Services: Obtains information about product and service linkages with other products and services elsewhere in organization. Researches the target market and how the product and services are sold and delivered. Explains current status, delivery alternatives and announced updates to products and services. Summarizes key features of major products or services in own unit. Assesses own unit's product alternatives, costs, and pricing.Organizational Leadership: Employs various group decision-making methods depending on the situation. Promotes efficacy through monitoring, coaching & motivating subordinates, intervention, etc. Translates vision into specific functional or departmental initiatives. Uses a normative decision model (with leadership styles and situational variables) to select style. Initiates structure: role clarification, setting standards, holding subordinates accountable, etc.Software Development Life Cycle: Explains how to use multiple, vendor-provided or in-house structured methodologies. Describes tasks, tools and practices for converting software product requirements into a design. Demonstrates experience with all phases and deliverables of the product development methodology. Implements the generic functions, features and facilities of modern structured methods. Explores and evaluates major structured methodologies available in the marketplace. Consults on effective application of structured product development methodologies.Software Integration Engineering: Works on designing scalable and efficient ETL models and templates. Compares and contrasts Integration issues with different operating systems and architectures. Consults on the design and development of customized interfaces for specific clients. Demonstrates experience with developing interfaces for multiple software partners and platforms. Explains requirements and considerations for data movement that involve platform conversion. Oversees the analysis, design and development of transformation codes.Software Quality Assurance and Testing: Consults on quality metrics and benchmarks; assess QA contribution. Interprets results of quantitative and statistical tools and presents to others. Coordinates execution of test plans, including resources, strategy, schedules, processes and tools. Communicates benefits and costs of a quality management process vis-a-vis costs of poor quality. Provides insight into the full spectrum of approaches for quality assuring of technology products. Can discuss pros and cons of alternative quality assurance and testing methods.Additional InformationThe location for this position is Peoria, IL.Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
