Job Description: Application Support Engineers participate in evaluation, design, implementation, QA, documentation and support of departmental web/client server software applications.

Implements and supports web/client server software applications while interfacing with internal and external customers.

Experience Requirement

2 years - Information Technology supporting company hardware/software or IT systems administration

1 year - Leading IT implementing projects

Experience in evaluating, designing, implementing and supporting client/server/web applications

Successful implementation of web/client server applications involving multiple IT systems personnel.

Completion of three successful projects as a lead engineer.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Effective communication skills with internal and external customers, ability to function well in stressful situations, ability to function well as part of a team, and the ability to resolve routine to complex problems by following departmental procedures.

Essential Standard Job Functions

Designs/Implements/Integrates/documents departmental web/client server software applications.

Trouble-shoots, diagnoses, and remedies system software/hardware failures. Coordinates problem resolution with technical support personnel from computer hardware and software companies.

Collects business requirements and evaluates departmental web/client server application solutions, committed to customer service excellence.

Assists both internal and external customers in finding solutions to their need for information as it related to the interfacing of disparate applications throughout the enterprise, spanning multiple architectures.

Ability to travel onsite for application support
