Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking An Architecture Intern to be based in Chicago, ILThis position is expected to begin in June 1, 2024The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Work directly with AECOM architects, interior designers, and engineers to assist in the development of design solutions at all levels of detail.
Work with Project Architects to develop and organize design presentations and packages for projects.
Work under the support of licensed professionals to develop complete sets of construction drawings for new building, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.
Assist Project Architects during the construction administrative phases.
Assist in developing design solutions to a wide range of technical architectural challenges.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Pursing a bachelor's (or higher) in architecture or design from an accredited program.
Must have completed a minimum of three years of study
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in working in REVIT, AutoCAD, and Rhino.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates creativity, passion and interest in architecture, planning, and design.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task work on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and effectively meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketchup graphic software preferred.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
