Assembler

E.H. Wachs is currently recruiting for an Assembler to be based at our Lincolnshire, IL site. The Assembler reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the assembly of complex equipment products and sub-assemblies that support the industrial and utility markets.This is a first shift position with hours of 4am - 12:30pm Monday to Friday.Essential job responsibilities are outlined below:Assemble and calibrate sub-assemblies and equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), bill of materials, drawings and design specifications.Perform basic troubleshooting steps to diagnose issues with equipment being built on the line.Inspect assembled product to ensure alignment with ISO Quality standards.Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.Enter inventory transactions into ERP as required.  Work within a team environment to execute production schedules in accordance with customer needs.Escalate high level quality concerns to supervisor or engineering.Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.Additional duties and tasks as assigned.
