About this jobThe Associate Client Manager will contribute to their client's satisfaction and engagement through insightful recommendations leveraging multiple complex data sets with an advanced technical proficiency to proactively solve strategic business issues. The ACM's role will include assisting clients with navigating through complex business challenges by providing insightful and actionable recommendations, contributing to overall client satisfaction and engagement, and developing your knowledge of your client's strategic business needs. Your success in this role will be driven by four key areas. First, accurately diagnosing and decomposing your client's business issues and successfully providing recommendations and insights will demonstrate your thought leadership and analytical aptitude. Second, you will demonstrate leadership of your client stakeholders by building strong relationships. Third understand their strategic goals and actions to deliver on those goals. Fourth, you will demonstrate knowledge of NIQ's tools, data assets, and programs. All client facing associates are part of the commercial and revenue management process. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying opportunities from client meetings and communications, socializing them to the right client leads, and supporting them so we can act on those opportunities.  We are always listening to our clients, assessing how we can help, and driving value add through expanding our engagements and services.Key career experience(s) and development gained in this role:Develop a richer understanding of NIQ’s businessBegin your journey as an SME on NielsenIQ productsBuild internal stakeholder relationshipsLearn our client's business processes and practices ResponsibilitiesSupport customer leadership by executing the customer account plan Begin developing strategic thinking by understanding how to influence change within the retailer as well as NielsenIQ.Support the client leads in identifying, actioning and securing additional product and service engagementsResponsible for voice of customer arising from interactions with during insight delivery Develop good understanding of propriety NIQ tools and metrics and articulate opportunities to product teamsHelp support any data inquires of a data issues for their client.Execute the right client needs based on assigned priorityInternal delivery tracking and score cardingWrite formulas to support complex analytics, and develop insights beyond what is visible in raw data.With a high degree of urgency, uncover and disseminate retailer, manufacturer, and competitive intelligence with the teamSupport, as directed, the delivery of the Joint Business Plan, QBRs and MBRsBuild and grow effective relationships with key contacts and decision makers at our clients.Put yourself in the shoes of the retailer, and influence changes within your direct control.Know who the key stakeholders are and what their needs are.Pull and analyze retail measurement, consumer panel, and other NielsenIQ data sets and deliver insights to NielsenIQ client teams for assigned categories.Makes analytical work easy to navigate.  Ability to "connect the dots" in the data to tell the story.  Able to adapt style to a variety of situations and personality styles. Present to groups of 10 to 20 people at middle managementWork closely with your manager to assist in the analysis and preparation of client deliverables and answer client questions.Actively listen and ask probing questions to ensure our work is delivering on client needs and identify additional opportunitiesSimplify data into a compelling story that will be presented to clients and used by industry leaders to set strategyCreate reports and templates for NielsenIQ client teams to use while managing projects independently.Fully utilizing all licensed data assets, products and services to maximize impact with the clientProvide support to NielsenIQ client teams by responding to ad-hoc data requests, answering questions, training, and providing analysis
