Job Description

Are you an Associate Creative Director with experience delivering intuitive digital experiences that increase results? Are you inspired by pixel perfection and can concept and create thoughtful, outstanding campaigns across multiple media? The Associate Creative Director – Design is inspired by new trends and the latest technologies that can integrate them into intuitive, digital experiences. Reporting to the ECD, you are collaborative and sell work to marketing colleagues and corporate partners and can inspire teams and mentor junior creatives by providing clear direction and constructive criticism. You will work with UX, strategy, technology, and other Merkle team members on several creative projects. You will help guide UI's strategic client plans and help shape projects from planning through implementation. You will be

US-based, giving preference to those in the Eastern/Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities

  • Experience leading a team, including project planning and resource allocation
  • Lead and help develop client pitch strategies and presentations
  • Create ideas and high concept development for client projects – when given a creative brief or request, be able to clarify the request, produce ideas, sketch solutions, and develop a visual story
  • Maintain visual design and UI standards to improve team efficiency, including hands-on creation of visual designs and wireframes for clients
  • Lead development of prototypes for usability testing and demonstration purposes
  • Create apps, websites, and other digital, experiential solutions
  • Work with the teams and leaders to ensure user adoption and client satisfaction
  • Support your design work using all available insights, including customer feedback, quantitative data, and usability findings
  • Remain current on the latest design and technology trends in the industry.

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of experience or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a creative leadership
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • Understanding of Experience Design and the role creative plays in achieving its outcomes
  • Digital, interactive, and customer experience agency or consultancy experience
  • Experience designing interactive experiences across a variety of media
  • Team leadership and mentoring skills; able to inspire collaboration
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, XD, Figma, and Sketch
  • Genuine passion and excitement for all design and a desire to create novel outcomes rather than relying on conventional thinking
  • A portfolio that exemplifies excellent UI Design, compelling ideas, and solid usability

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000- $132,000. Salary is based on many factors including relevant experience, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
