ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ENTERPRISE S/W ENGINEERING - SALESFORCEThis position is based in Riverwoods, IL with flexible/hybrid options
Using your highest level of technical depth and expertise you will lead a team of Salesforce architects, developers, and analyst to make huge impacts across our divisions!What makes this role great?As the Associate Director, focused on Salesforce you are an integral part of driving transformation and efficiencies across the Wolters Kluwer shared services division, Global Business Services. With GBS supporting the very foundation of all WK business units you will play a vital part in making a significant difference with key Salesforce initiatives and working with cross functional teams globally.You will also get to ensure your 'hands on' skills do not get too outdated as you will be using your technical expertise leading your team with the most current Salesforce releases, directing the facilitation of these very demanding deadlines, and then, from time to time, you can also roll your sleeves up and jump in! You steer the ship through implementing Salesforce cloud strategy from design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support - YOU GUIDE YOUR TEAM THROUGH IT ALL. Love what you do and INSPIRE OTHERS.Some of the key areas you will be responsible for in this leader role:- Collaborate with key-business stakeholders, directors, product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new Salesforce and cloud-based products/services, applications, and solutions
- Manage the Salesforce team
- Drive the successful delivery of projects and operational releases
- Drive the roll-out of Salesforce and cloud management platforms; evaluate its performance and implement enhancements as needed and required
- Identifying and resolve complex technical and operational problems within GBS and as it relates across various business units
- Proven track record as a thought leader working with enterprise systems in a large complex global organization
- Minimum 3 years experience managing and leading teams
- Minimum 10 years broad Information Technology experience in Salesforce
- Minimum 3 years experience working with Enterprise Architecture, Systems Requirements, Experience in Project and Program Management, Systems Design and Delivery, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure
- Experience mentoring, training, coaching, delivering performance feedback, and providing regular evaluations
- Ability to conduct analysis of business needs, organizing meeting agendas, creating opportunities to improve process flow for efficiency
- Experience working with geographically diverse associates and vendor partners
- Demonstrated budget management, tracking, and forecasting skills and experience
- Demonstrated on-time and on-budget system delivery skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in creating, maintaining, and improving processes, metrics, SLAs for the various interfaces, systems, etc.
