Description We are inviting applications for the role of Attorney, to join a top law firm in Chicago, Illinois. As an Attorney, you will be responsible for handling foreclosure cases, drafting pleadings and motions, and conducting legal research. This role is crucial in ensuring all legal services are delivered timely and accurately. Responsibilities: Handle foreclosure cases and ensure all legal requirements are met Draft pleadings and motions related to foreclosure cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the law Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development Liaise with title companies for all issues related to foreclosure cases Monitor and manage notices related to foreclosure cases, ensuring all are issued and received as per the legal requirements Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in foreclosure law and apply this knowledge to current cases Ensure all client communications are responded to timely and accurately Maintain accurate and complete client records, updating them regularly to ensure all information is current Provide advice and guidance to clients on foreclosure matters, ensuring they are fully informed about their case and the legal process. Requirements Must possess a detail oriented degree in Law from a recognized university. Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in the field of Foreclosure law. Proficiency in drafting pleadings and motions. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in handling legal notices. Strong skills in legal research and the ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations. Previous work experience with title companies is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in using legal research software and other related software. Open to continuous learning and development in the field of law. Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
