Detect and assess problems: resolve; debug; troubleshoot; to provide solutions to automated systems, robotic malfunctions, and reliability issuesWork independently with little to no direction to determine and implement corrective actions on equipment and processesEnsure proper safety procedures are always in use and utilized / followedPerform equipment start-ups and shutdowns, modifications, and upgrades on all automation systemsRespond in a timely manner to all issues to ensure productivity and efficiency of automated systemsProvide technical support to improve equipment operations and performanceMaintain all production equipment in good, clean, and functioning conditionApply appropriate preventative maintenance (PM) methods in planned and unplanned maintenance requestsUnderstand and analyze interactions between all components and systems: mechanical, servo, robotic, electrical, etc.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly fashionUnderstand the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLC), as well as servo drives, vision systems, laser marking systems, etc.Assist in implementation of new equipment and sub-assembly systemsWork cooperatively with the Manufacturing teamOther projects as assigned by manager
