Position: Back End Engineer

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL or Dallas, TX – hybrid work schedule

Rate: $75/hr - NO C2C – must be W2 or GTS

Interview Process: 1 hour technical video interview

Must Haves:

8+ years of experience in Application Development with advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
6+ years developing in OO programming languages like Java/J2EE/Spring Boot.
Knowledge of design patterns and core frameworks
Experience with integrating with Restful APIs and third-party libraries
Experience in building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins etc. as part of CI/CD process
Strong desire to build unit tests from the start with TDD development.
Knowledge of tools like Git, Postman/SOAPUI/Insomnia, Rally, Junit, SwaggerHub
Be an advocate of security best practices, support the importance of security within engineering, partnering with Digital and Enterprise security teams and digital product owners to ensure compliance
Ability to understand problems, break them down into hypotheses and propose solutions in a clear manner
Ability to crisply document design and implementation details
Experience in Agile/SAFe methodologies
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a blend of innovation and speed of execution
Willing to work as a team and has the right attitude to work as a part of a large organization

Plusses: Experience in the health-care industry is a plus
