Job#: 1260076 Job Description: Project Manager - Backhaul/MicrowaveDuration: 18-30 months, with opportunity to go full timePay: $40-$65 DOELocation: Hybrid WFH (1 day in office)Expecations:- At least 10 years relevant experience required.
- Manage all aspects of small to intermediate projects throughout the development lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change.
- Work closely with stakeholders and to define project parameters, then translate customer needs into formal requirements, using knowledge of the industry and delivery methodology.
- Develop detailed project schedule, resource plan, and status reports, managing task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle
- Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end user, services organizations, vendors and implementations partners.
- Review project deliverables for accuracy, and apprise management of risks, issues, and recommended mitigations.
- Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon handoff, then close all project documentation and archive appropriate records
Project Details: - will support Magenta Build projects of all types
- Sprint Retain, NSDs, Backhaul Upgrades, MW Entitlements, NSD Builds, etc.
- Strong excel skills will be a requirement to analyze and track data as needed. PM will also work in MagentaBuilt, but that can be trained if they are not currently versed in the program.
Day To Day:This PM will be the Point of Contact for the markets Development team in the Transport space. They will interact frequently and be present and/or run meetings with the Regional Transport team, Fiber Providers, internal stakeholders, etc. They will work in conjunction with a Network Project Coordinator, Development PMs, the Development Manager and Market Operation teams ensuring AAV or MW Backhaul is present at the site for use. Responsibilities will include identifying newly contracted sites, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met, identifying risks to project, project status reports, project schedules, etc.Preferred background/prior work experience? Ideally would have had experience with: T-Mobile or other telecom carriers, Fiber providers and their processes/procedures as well as MW Backhaul.Priority soft skills Position needs to be filled by an individual with a very strong work ethic, strong initiative, good communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize their time effectively.
